We are currently located in The Beyond Center, at 281 Hartford Turnpike, Vernon, suite G5 and as of August 1st, we will have our own suite at the same location….on the main floor - suite 104. We are proud to announce that, when the dust has settles, we will have 4 treatment rooms, and will be offering body reflexology and light therapy. It is with mixed emotions I make this announcement. Change and transistion is not an easy journey for any of us, but, it is time for me to step away. My husband and I have decided to relocate to Florida.
I am pleased and proud to announce Jane Williamson, a Certified Reflexologist is the new owner of The Sole Connection. Jane earned her certification in Foot and Body Reflexology through Acusage Academy in Oxford, MA. Most recently she earned her certification in Body and Light Reflexology also from Acusage Academy, where Jane and I met. Jane has been in healthcare for the past 20 years. She is a veteran reflexologist with gifted hands and heart.
Jane will continue the practice with Wendi Stone-Moffitt and David A. Thorn. The Sole Connection will continue to offer JUST REFLEXOLOGY. This ancient healing art is a non-invasive therapy. Please do not confuse this modality with massage. Reflexologists believe the entire body is mirrored on the feet and hands through a system of reflexes. Reflexology is the application of pressure to the reflex areas in the feet and hands to encourage the body, mind and spirit to function optimally, as well as to help promote relaxation. This therapy can be traced back to several cultures; the Chinese, the ancient Indians, and the Egyptians. There is scientific research that backs this therapy and based on the premise that there are zones and reflex points in the feet that correspond to the entire body.
